DENVER - The current 14-year term of office of Elizabeth E. Brown, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Colorado at Denver, Colorado is due to expire on April 15, 2015. The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit is presently considering whether to reappoint Judge Brown to a new 14-year term of office.
Upon reappointment, Judge Brown would continue to exercise the jurisdiction of a bankruptcy judge as specified in Titles 11 and 28 of the United States Code.
Members of the bar and the public are invited to submit comments for consideration by the court of appeals. All comments will be kept confidential and should be directed to:
