Effective January 22, 2018, Tenth Circuit Rule 34.1(E)(1) was amended by General Order to reflect that audio recordings of oral arguments shall be posted to the court’s website within 48 hours of the argument unless the court orders otherwise. Accordingly, it is no longer necessary to file a motion for release of an oral argument recording.
Starting with the January 2018 term of court and going forward, all oral argument recordings will be posted to the court’s website within 48 hours unless the court orders otherwise. While the previously posted oral argument recordings for cases with high interest from the public and/or media will remain available below, the court will not retroactively post recordings of oral arguments that occurred prior to January 2018.
