Judge Matheson welcomes clerkship applications for the following:
Applicants must have completed at least two full years of law school coursework. Applications from students who entered law school in 2023 (graduating class of 2026) will not be reviewed before June 9, 2025.
Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, writing sample, and three recommendation letters to OSCAR.

Timeframe: Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters (In response to COVID concerns, we are not presently accepting applications.)
Schedule: Flexible, but in accordance with law school requirements for credit.
Minimum Law School Level to Apply: Three completed semesters.
Required Application Materials: Cover letter, resume, and law school transcript.
How to Apply: Send applications by USPS to Bennett Federal Building, 125 South State Street, Suite 5402, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. But University of Utah and Brigham Young University students should apply through their law schools.
