The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit seeks applications for a bankruptcy judgeship in the District of Wyoming. Bankruptcy judges are appointed to 14-year terms pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §152. The position will be available after February 28, 2015. The current annual salary is $183,172.
The official duty station for the position is in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Because the District of Wyoming has a relatively low bankruptcy caseload at this time, the incumbent will be expected to carry a partial caseload in the District of Colorado and may be expected to assist other bankruptcy courts in the circuit.
